Youth Development

The Pan African Youth Movement (PAYM) is a dedicated advocate for the holistic development of youth in Africa.Through a multifaceted approach encompassing dialogue, research, capacity building, and advocacy, PAYM addresses critical issues that hinder the progress of young people across the continent.  Africa boasted a burgeoning youth population of 226 million individuals aged 15-24, a figure projected to increase by 42% by 2030. While this demographic dividend offers immense potential, it is imperative to address the significant hurdles that impede the development of Africa’s youth. Uganda, like many countries in the region, grapples with a confluence of challenges that hinder the holistic development of its young people.

The Role of the Pan African Youth Movement

The Pan African Youth Movement’s commitment to youth development across Africa is paramount in addressing the multifaceted challenges. Through inclusive dialogues, targeted research, skills development initiatives, and dedicated advocacy, PAYM strives to empower youth, foster sustainable change, and uphold the rights and dignity of all young individuals on the continent.
