The Centre was established in October 2009 by eight non-profit civil society organisations in South Africa’s environmental and environmental justice sector to provide legal and related support to environmental public interest organisations, community organisations and communities. They opened doors in April 2010.
Project 90 by 2030 is a social and environmental justice organisation inspiring and mobilising South African society towards a sustainably developed and equitable low-carbon future by means of a Just Energy Transition.
POWER SHIFT AFRICA (PSA) IS A THINK TANK PROVIDING CUTTING-EDGE ANALYSIS, SOLUTION-FOCUSED POLICY IDEAS, AND UP-TO-THE-MINUTE MEDIA ENGAGEMENT FROM AN AFRICAN PERSPECTIVE, BOTH WITHIN THE CONTINENT AND INTERNATIONALLY.
